Clinical Documentation
Streamlining Workflows to Improve Patient Care Across the Continuum

Clinical DocumentationAs part of its Sunrise Clinical Manager™ solutions, Eclipsys delivers clinical documentation tools that enhance workflows and processes for many types of caregivers, providing them with embedded content that is easy to access and accurate. Eclipsys provides preconfigured documentation templates, including procedure notes, flowsheets, summaries and care plans for commonly encountered problems in critical care, emergency care, ambulatory care, and acute care. Each department can easily configure these templates to meet specific needs.

Based on care plans and protocols, the nursing documentation prompts caregivers as they navigate through pathways, and alerts them of tasks needing action. Physician documentation includes E&M Coding that shows the documented level of the visit and recommends an appropriate CPT code to ensure timely and accurate billing.
